Hello again!
It's been a couple weeks since I have last posted something about my trip progress. As the departure date draws nearer, my mission team is getting busier! We are all actively fundraising to make our budget. Thanks to the support from my friends and family, I am only a few hundred dollars away from my goal!
On April 26 my team will be hosting a fundraiser called Texas Night. When we are in Germany, we will running an event by the same name that will have dancing, food, and activities that give the German people a taste of Lonestar culture. This fundraiser is going to be our trial run for the real event in May. I am in charge of the dancing, and anyone who knows me would probably laugh at that, but how hard can teaching line dancing and 2-stepping be? If any of y'all are in the Huntsville area that night definitely come out and have a good time!
Each member of my team is also preparing a sermon or devotional for our mission trip, in case we are asked to give one. We also are practicing and refining our testimonials. I sometimes can get nervous when I talk to people about personal stuff like that, but I know that if I put my trust in God he will speak through me!

Upcoming Deadline!
Guten Tag!
I have been busy the past couple of weeks fundraising for my next big deadline! $1450 will be due this Thursday, March 21st. This is our biggest deadline, because it is what we use to purchase our plane tickets and other big expenses. So many people have been so generous, and I am so thankful for you!
For those of you reading this blog, may I ask a favor? Would you help me spread the word about my trip and what my team is going to try and accomplish in Germany? We are always in need of support (prayers and moral support as well!).

Fundraising Update
Hello again!
This past Saturday another girl on my mission trip team and I held a bake sale as a fundraiser for a trip! It was a pretty successful fundraiser! We sold cupcakes, brownies and cookies, and sold them off donations. We each raised $100 dollars! We still have a long way to go, but it definitely helped!

First I'd like to thank everyone for visiting my blog. My hope is to keep y'all updated about all of the details of my mission trip to Germany this summer!
I am very happy to say that since I have been in college I have developed a stronger relationship with the Lord. Last semester I joined an organization on campus called Chi Alpha. It is great to be around young people my age that love the Lord as much as they do! Every year Chi Alpha organizes mission trips around the world, and I have an amazing opportunity to travel to Erfurt, Germany this summer for two weeks. We will be working with students at the university in Erfurt, and will be working alongside an organization on campus called Students For Christ. Our main goal though is to show how great God is!
To be able to go on the trip, I need to raise a budget of $2400 dollars. I am hoping to raise this goal through the support of family, friends, and fundraising. My next big deadline is March 21st, and is a total of $1800. I am not just asking for monetary support, but prayers and moral support as well!
